1. The Fermentation Broth

The fermentation broth’s pH is about 3.5-4.0;  the concentration of product is about 8-12g/L. It is used in clarification, purification, desalination, concentration.

 

2. Process Principle 

After the ceramic membrane treatment, the fermentation broth gets rid of macromolecular suspended solids and gains clarified dialysate, to fulfill the feed clarification requirements of the subsequent ultrafiltration system. After entering into the ultrafiltration system, ceramic membrane dialysis fluid is decolorized and removes small molecular protein, thus improving the product purity. The ultrafiltration dialysis fluid first enters the system equipped with cation exchange resin. The intermediate material is obtained after exchange and then it is re-loaded into the system equipped with anion exchange resin, thus ultimately achieving the effect of desalination and purification. After regeneration, resin with saturated exchange re-enters the exchange area to desalinate the feed solution. Product obtained from continuous ion exchange enters the reverse osmosis system for concentration, which can reduce the energy consumption and costs of subsequent triple effect evaporation.
